Are you kidding me?! First I stumble upon the teal piano, and that's all I can think about for months, and THEN, I stumble upon an entirely hand-made crocheted piano that LOOKS like it's covered in doiles. It's name is Piano Dentelle made by European artist Joana Vasconcelos - if you go to her website, you can see an actual short film about this beaut. Am I supposed to be seeing some sort of sign?! Should my new house have a funky piano in it for real?

Wow, I'm not the only one who desired a teal piano...remember that one I desired from Habitat for Humanity? Look what I just found - this couple used their blue piano as part of their wedding props. So loverly...{pic from Snazzy Jazzy}

I ALMOST bought this teal piano from the Habit to Humanity Re-store in Newmarket. When I walked into the store, my heart just dropped at the sight of it. As soon as I saw it, I realized that I'd always wanted, deep down inside, a teal piano. I could just picture it in the living room of my new house, the only pop of colour against muted colour scheme...it would contrast my espresso hardwood floors and white walls so perfectly! I could just picture my future kiddies learning to play on it. How fantastic would that have been! But the piano-repairman who came to look at it before I made the splurge said he wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole. It's all rusted inside and would take $3000+ to fix it to make it play-able. So sad! But hey, now that I know what I want, I will keep my eye out for another piano and just paint it teal myself!!
